Greg Letson has edited award-winning television commercials for many of the top brands in America.
Coca-Cola, Visa, Reebok, American Express, Becks, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Bayer, Lilly, PaineWebber, Citibank, Chase, Olay, Ocean Spray, Tylenol, Trojan and Nynex are a few brands whose advertising Greg has worked on, for ad agencies including Grey Worldwide, The Tombras Group, Cronin, Chiat/Day, Marty Weiss & Friends, McCann-Erickson, BBDO, Saatchi, JWT, Arnold Worldwide, and Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
Recently, Greg conceived, pitched, wrote and edited a number of spots promoting the RIO Olympic games for NBC Universal. Other types of projects include branded content, social media campaigns, promos, sizzles, corporate films and brand presentations.
Greg's editing experience extends into longer form work as well; he has edited a number of short films, music videos and documentaries, including an award-winning hour-long documentary about world music, "Global Notes" for VH1. He is currently in the final stages of his second feature documentary, RAO'S: A Love Story and is preparing to begin work on a new feature documentary, Downwind, about the ongoing controversies at the decommissioned Rocky Flats nuclear weapons factory site.
Some of the distinctions bestowed upon projects Greg has edited include the Cannes Awards, the Addys, the Clio Awards, the One Show, the Effies and the Ace awards. As an editor, Greg has been twice-nominated for best editing in the Clio awards, and has been awarded a Best Editing honor in the AICE awards.
Greg is available for editing projects on either a freelance or project basis. He is fluent on both Adobe Premiere Pro and AVID Media Composer. His skillset also extends to Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Lightroom, Media Encoder and AVID Interplay.
Greg is equipped to work remotely as well as on-site and is willing to travel. He resides in Hoboken, NJ and works for clients throughout the Greater New York City metro area and beyond.
